Chris Brown apologizes for 'GMA' outburst
Chris Brown is apologizing for his outburst at the "Good Morning America" studios on Tuesday, when he stormed off the set following questions about his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna and stared down the producer responsible for the segment.
According to an ABC report, the hair and make-up staff called security when Brown retreated to his dressing room because of the loud noises coming from the space. It was later discovered that the thick glass of the dressing room window had been smashed.
"First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and [was] disappointed at my actions," Brown said during a recent appearance on BET's "106 & Park." "Because I'm disappointed in the way I acted."
Brown admitted that he got emotional, but explained that he was angry that "GMA" anchor Robin Roberts went beyond the "talking points" that his camp had submitted to the news show.
Charlie sheen troubles
Warner Bros. Television has fired actor Charlie Sheen from its comedy "Two and a Half Men" after a two-week public meltdown by the star that has included attacks on the show's creator.
"After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on 'Two and a Half Men,' effective immediately," the company said in a statement issued Monday.
"This is very good news," Sheen said in a statement to TMZ. "They continue to be in breach, like so many whales.
"It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of their bazillions ... and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."
Sheen, 45, has been known for his highly publicized marital, legal and substance abuse problems as much as his acting. The show was put on hiatus after he entered a rehabilitation program in January, and production was halted after Sheen blasted show co-creator Chuck Lorre and Alcoholics Anonymous in a February 24 radio interview.

Libyans gathered Thursday in the capital for the funerals of 13 people who Moammar Gadhafi's government said were victims of a coalition airstrike.
The government showed footage of the airstrike on state television and said 16 people had been killed. Coalition leaders have said repeatedly that coalition jets have dropped precision bombs on military targets and there have been no civilian casualties so far in the aerial war.
CNN could not independently verify the circumstances of the deaths or who the victims were. Regardless, Gadhafi's message was loud and clear: innocent people were wrongly killed and the Libyan people will fight back against what state television called "crusader colonial aggression."
Japan tsunami
A magnitude 9.0 earthquake hit northern Japan on March 11, triggering tsunamis that caused widespread devastation and crippled a nuclear power plant. The amount of radioactive iodine in Tokyo's tap water dropped considerably in a test Thursday morning, down to a level that would be considered safe for infants to drink, the city's government said.
Tests from 6 a.m. Thursday at the Kanamichi Water Purification Plant, which provides water to 23 wards in Tokyo as well as five other cities, showed 79 becquerels of radioactive iodine per kilogram of water. A becquerel is a measurement of radioactive intensity by weight. This is below the 100 becquerel level, the maximum that could be considered safe for infants ages 1 and younger.
