james franco at the grammys with hathaway

Let's keep it real: The Twitter chatter about the 83rd Annual Academy Awards on Sunday night was way more entertaining than the actual show.
There was lots of sharp criticism of Hollywood's biggest event out there in the land of social networking, with the brunt of it aimed at hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco.
The duo of actors were even the subject of a trending topic slugged #youngandhiposcars with the consensus being the show was anything but.
"I'm almost certain Franco & Hathaway thought this was a dress rehearsal,"

charlie sheen: im tired of pretending that... im NOT special

In interviews with two television networks that aired Monday, Charlie Sheen said he has cured his substance abuse addictions with his mind -- and alleged that CBS, which put his sitcom on hiatus, is trying to take his money and destroy his family.
Sheen said he would go back and finish the season of "Two and a Half Men," which CBS halted last week after Sheen called a radio show. But, he said, because of his psychological distress, he wants $3 million per episode rather than the $2 million he was making.
"I'm tired of pretending like I'm not special," Sheen told NBC. "I'm tired of pretending like I'm not bitching a total freaking rock star from Mars. And people can't figure me out. They can't process me. I don't expect them to. You can't process me with a normal brain."
He later said he has "tiger blood and Adonis DNA."
CBS and Warner Bros. Television said in a joint statement last week that "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of 'Two and a Half Men' for the remainder of the season."

i am on a drug! its called CHARLIE SHEEN! lmfao.

kanye and hype turn on all the lights

It's not the first time Kanye West has linked up with Hype Williams, but it might be the duo's most confusing collaboration.
Over the weekend, West released the video for “All of the Lights,” the fourth single off his critical and commercial darling, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.”
The vid follows a small black girl as she walks through a snowy maze of high-rise housing all alone. From there, an opening credit sequence - taken straight from the playbook of the French thriller “Enter the Void” - shoots out lyrics to the song in a strobe-light fury that could make some queasy.
The video then cuts to a shot of a scantily-clad Rihanna and a James Dean-esque (thanks to that red jacket) Kid Cudi, and none of it seems to make any correlation to the opening narrative.

americans hijacked on yacht

A round-the-world boating adventure ended tragically Tuesday for four Americans, whom pirates shot to death after capturing their yacht in the Indian Ocean last week, U.S. officials said.
The 58-foot vessel, named the Quest, was being shadowed by the military after pirates captured the ship off the coast of Oman on Friday. Officials had said earlier Tuesday it was less than two days from the Somali coast.
Ship owners Jean and Scott Adam and Phyllis Macay and Bob Riggle were found shot after U.S. forces boarded the vessel about 1 a.m. ET, officials said.
The forces responded after a rocket-propelled grenade was fired at a U.S. Navy ship about 600 yards away -- and missed -- and the sound of gunfire could be heard on board the Quest, U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Mark Fox told reporters.
